Shooting wildlife, whether within a zoo environment or out in the wild can be a challenging undertaking, given the distance at which you'll be from your subject. The Melbourne Zoo walk will help equip you with key knowledge and skills to achieve fantastic results. 


Upon completion of this course, you will understand:

  • Ideal camera settings
  • Choosing the best equipment
  • Choosing the right background,
  • Understanding lighting and focus methods,
  • ISO for shooting in low light
  • Different techniques for different animals and shooting through fences and glass

Please note the price of this course includes admission to the zoo.


Our COVID 19 Measures:

  • Wash your hands/use hand sanitiser before entering the classroom or touching any equipment - we have hand sanitising stations outside and inside the classroom as well as an interior basin.
