Master your Nikon digital SLR or mirrorlesss camera with this comprehensive and interactive full-day photography course. With the guidance of our experienced media school team, learn the concepts and theories behind taking a great shot. The course will take place both in our media school classroom, as well as on a short photo walk around Melbourne’s CBD.

This course is perfect for those new to photography and for those who would like a more in depth understanding of their Nikon camera. We will help you understand the fundamentals of using your DSLR or mirrorless camera, including exposure, aperture and shutter speeds, ISO, focus controls, flash, RAW, composition and more.


Course Outline:

Part 1. Camera Controls, focussing and understanding light

Part 2. Understanding aperture and lenses

Part 3. Shutter speed, flash and low light photography

Part 4. Software and composition
